10+ years old. Has held up well. Good sturdy roast, a little ash, dry chocolate, earth. Almost no oxidation. Some raisins. Sound.

Barbera Smith

Gorgeous stuff, rounded berry and red grape character, fairly peppery, mildly tart, quenching.

Oude Geuze Boon (2015-2016) Smith

Damn drinkable, not the most complex lambic ever but it is super drinkable. Mellow funk, some orange or tangerine, bit of old wood, grass. Moderate acidity. Solid.

Vigneronne (2018) Smith

Very tasty gear. Lots of tart citrus, string acidity, a faint herbal note, ample woody pale dryness. Hugely drinkable.

X Imperial Stout Barrel Aged Calvados Smith

Bit of a beast. Loads of meaty dark malts, subdued oxidation, booze, molasses, burnt toffee, raisins, hoisin. Fun to try again.

Palo Santo Marron Smith

Aged about 12 years. Holding up well. Mild oxidation. Rich dark malts, torched cedar, aged dark fruits. Warming booze. Not bad.

HORAL's Oude Geuze Mega Blend (2019) Smith

Outstanding. Dry, lightly funky, some nice citric bite, grassy bitterness, old wood. Loved it.

Beer Geek Vanilla Shake Barrel Aged Bourbon Smith

Outstanding. Luscious chocolate, fudge, creamy vanilla, mellow boozy warmth, roast, raisin, toasted marshmallow. It’s a 2016 vintage and has aged quite nicely.

Still kicking. Rich, smooth chocolate character, toasted malts, light roast and maple, a few raisins.

This bottle is from around 2010/2011. Rich and meaty, minimal signs of age, ash, dark chocolate. Dense and tasty.
