Velvet Rush

Fantastic Fathers Day meal w/ a delicious 2014 Monte Tabor Amarone Della Valpolicella wine, but it’s time for a little Velvet Rush and a siesta. Boozy smooth bourbon that’s a little sweet with a velvet mouthfeel to start. Bet it gets better as it warms.

American import 2015 vintage (aleage?) Got some funk going on. Tart and yeasty with just a bit of fruitiness.

Nice citrus taste, but a little weak. Well done for a low cal IPA, so I can see it as a good beer while doing yard work, or afterwards in the pool. And fun can art.

So delicious and smooth! Lots of vanilla highlights. The barrel aging blends the flavors together. Boozy with a nice maple sweetness.

Hop bite, but a lightly sweet finish. Interesting.
