Half sour/half funky with a noticeable wine barrel character coupled with some hefty caramel malt influence in the finish.

Ginger, Spice, Barreled And Nice Jarvie

Zero barleywine character. I would have guessed an imperial spiced ale because spice (ginger, cinnamon, clove) is what dominates in flavor. Despite being sweet and bearing little resemblance to a barleywine, it is not awful but definitely not recommended.

Full bodied, almost syrupy. Flavors of maple, allspice and pumpkin with a fair amount of barrel flavor. Was that expecting worse but pleasantly surprised

Wake Up World Wide Stout (2022) Jarvie

Surprisingly good. Great coffee and cinnamon flavor. Reminds me ever-so-slightly of an amped up Xocoveza but without the heat.

Oude Schaarbeekse Kriek Boon (2018) Jarvie

Dry and tart with a nice cherry character. Effervescent and crisp mouthfeel.
