One of the all time greats. Maybe Strong Ale or Barleywine will work their way back to having a visible niche some day.

Horkin' Heapload

Modern for sure but not overdone and (impressively) not overly sweet. Strong but mellow hop flavor.

Faithful Companion

Crisp, a little fruity, and fun. Super solid and crushable blonde ale.

302 Lager

Fruity and crushable. Would buy if it was put into larger production.

Olde Zungenbrecher Bock

Mellow yet almost intensely earthy. Woody.

Original Gaelic

The roastiness hides the lightness. A beer for those who love black coffee.

Indian Brown

Remember when brown ales were a major craft category? I miss it too…

Perpetual Retrograde

Pretty dank but not overdone. Would drink again.

Festina Pêche

(Unsure which entry to check in on draft.) If absence makes the heart grow fonder, then Festina Peche just might be my favorite Dogfish beer of all time.

Colderest Ipa

A nice cure for those a little tired of juicy haze. Like how crisp and clean it drinks.

Black & Blue (2010)

Picked up this bottle at DFH a couple of years ago. Maybe over the hill but not worse for wear. Much of the fruitiness is gone but the beer remains savory, reasonably heavy, and interesting.

The Cranfather

Really good for a “whisky cocktail beer” provided you like cranberry. Wish it was a little less sweet and a little more spicy but it’s drinkable for the octane.

World Wide Stout

A classic big boy banger. So rich and intense (and boozy). This is beer for cold days.

Shelter Pale Ale

Fun retro classic. Calling the pale ale comeback this year.

Crimson Cru

I was expecting more of a sour but I really love what this is. Drinks more like an old school brown ale out of a cask (with a hint of funk). Smooth and rich.

Walking Run

First beer of vacation. A hazy beer that’s both sessionable and earthy. Perfect for a late lunch.

Mandarin & Mango Crush

Nicely tart. Fruit tastes real but not artificial. Creamy beer base carries through on the finish.

Kernza Pils

Suuuuper crushable and flavorful. Nice touch of malt sweetness and lingering hop bitterness.

Festina Pêche

Tastes peachier than I remember but this is still such a crushable fruit beer.

Where the Wild Hops Are

Herbaceous AF. Nice bitterness. This is a literally and spiritually refreshing IPA.

Firefly Ale W/ Guava

Alluring nose, very smooth flavor and mouthfeel with the just right amount of fruit. Crushable.

Mango Smoovie

The level of tartness isn’t normally what I’m looking for but it works with the mango. This is some tropical beach juice.

Lemon Quest

How fitting that my first ever N/A beer is from DFH. Love the tart/bitter/salty combination.

120 Minute IPA (2016)

Aged bottle (4/12/16). Strong raisin/caramel notes present. Hops have faded but still nicely compliment the punch of the alcohol.
