What a find on the Tenuta's single rack! Flavors were great with slight grapey cardboard creeping in around the edges. What really killed it though was it poured completely still. The total flatness made the otherwise silky & luxurious body limp & flabby.

Friday night with Dave. Things were getting hazey by this point and I don't mean the beers, heh. I'm told this fell off hard, but honestly I think I just don't like this beer. It's fucking gross. Drain poured most of mine.

Wake Up World Wide Stout (2022) H
Me yesterday: "probably my last time shoveling snow at this place." Me today: "I hope this shit quits tonight so I can get the shoveling done before work." Perks of lakeshore living. Coffee a bit weak here and frankly it could use more against the maple.

Smell between corny malts & pithy earthy piney hops. Complex earthy bitterness each sip. Maybe would've loved this rocket fuel a few years back, nowadays not so much my thing. Heartburn juice.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019) H
This is so well melded and IMO genuinely superior to the sugary mess it was fresh. I actually taste more coffee now than I did before and get some accompanying maple "flavor" to balance rather than unrelenting diabetes syrup. Crack em if you got em!

Underground Mountain Brown (2020) H
The same mocha booze-bomb I remember from last year. Too easy to slam. Can feel the warm happy feelz already only halfway through my mug. Wish they'd bring back the unbarreled base because guess what kiddos it's even better than this Banger.

Know what sucks? Having to do your Untappy on an ancient desktop like some 1990s basement cretin F5'ing AIM in a desperate bid for validation because your damn phone bricks and you won't have a new one for a week. Liked this way better than the maple one.

No doubt very flavorful but I feel like I'm just getting a bigger, bolder regular KBS and not the maple chocolate bomb I see others checking in. Rich and satisfying but nothing mind blowing.

Thanks for the heads up on the sweetness Joe J. Di'beetus juice confirmed. The chaser to my actual shot. Glad I stuck to buying a single. Well balanced but heavy & sugary. Raspberry is not medicinal or overdone & adds nice aroma. True to its description.

Barrel Aged Imperial Stout (Mothership Series) H
Sadly last bottle but the weather called for it. Deceiving aroma leads to milk chocolate roast flavor. Fuck this beer is SMOOTH. Barely even felt it go down and now I've had too much to drink after 1 beer on a school night. THANKS OBAMA!!

World Wide Stout - Bourbon Barrel Aged H
Fizzy pour had me worried. Was expecting a much heavier body but the boozy heat is hitting the spot tonight. Oaky charred caramel, malts & dark fruit buried in booze, finishes like taking a shot. Pairs well with MindWebs on WMSE. Gonna sleep well tonight.
