Made with grapefruit juice and I certainly can tell. Why? At least it's 8%!

A big beer to go along with prepping to make a slightly lesser big beer. Big bourbon and malt flavor, but also highly drinkable. 👍👍👍

Well, apparently Founders didn't change their recipe, we're just becoming more snooty about our stouts. Got a case of BS with new branding and thought they cheapened the recipe. Fortunately found a year old BS for comparison. Not drastically different....

Gonna say I like the original better, but you'd never know the ABV of this beer... hidden well. Has a yeasty fruity sweetness to it. Interesting.

Very grapefruity after a Fiddlehead. Don't love it. Drinks lighter than an 8% though.

High scores for being a very easy drinker for 10.9%. A little smokey, but very mellow.

Very nice. Bourbon is only present, not overpowering. Nice body and bitterness to back up the 12%. Very good, very smooth.

Had to have another momentous beer for the newly acquired commemorative glassware. Thanks M&D!! Bold boozy nose, some kind of bold boozy flavor I can't describe, warming, but still easy to come back for more. Aged well since my last try in 2018!
