Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019) Carter
didn’t blow my mind like it did when i first had it, but that’s just because my palate evolved. still a damn good beer, i definitely like this way more than kbs

bracingly tart, dry, slightly sweet, fruity, and wonderful all around. few things are more beautiful in this life than the mouthwatering yeasty aftertaste of a good lambic

for something this common, this is really something special. very west coast, highly pungent, malty, crisp, and savory. will definitely be drinking more of this in the future, along with 120 when i can get my hands on it.

a veritable treasure trove. idk what the distinguishing characteristics of merlot grapes are but they seem to have a warm earthy vibe that works perfectly with that lambic tartness. it’s so weird that this and miller lite are the same type of beverage

brussels champagne, indeed. my first conventional lambic experience and it’s a good one. tart, yeasty, warm, and effervescent just like i expected.
