KBS - Chocolate Espresso Pratt
Flavors are great as expected. I had hoped for a little more body and mouthfeel on draft. Sweeter than traditional KBS but not as sweet as Mackinac fudge edition. Coffee flavor was a little on the burnt side to me—kinda like Starbucks.

Robust is right! Pours darkest brown w/ a quickly dissipating beige head & lacing. Roasty malt nose w/ subtle graham cracker & hops notes. Not very sweet. Lots of toasted bread & black coffee w/ darkest chocolate. Lingering, satisfying bitterness. Flavor!

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019) Pratt
Cellared - bottled 10/4/19. Pours darkest opaque brown with caramel head. Bourbon, maple, fudge, and coffee on nose. Sweetness on palate smooths out any booziness with delicious coffee and vanilla on the backend. Really a superb beer. Aged spectacularly

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Pratt
Bottled 8.9.22 — 2nd time having this one. Let it age for a year from purchase. Maple & rich cocoa on the nose. I notice coffee notes more this time around. I really love the dessert quality of this beer without being overwhelming sweet. Great balance!

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Pratt
Poured hard resulting in rich, creamy head with lots of lacing. Creamy mouthfeel and wonderful notes of fudge and vanilla. Sweeter than regular KBS and very easy drinking for the abv. Perfect for an after-dinner beer. Delicious!

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2018) Pratt
Fantastic! Pours the color of cold brew coffee. A perfect balance of sweetness and booziness. Smooth with great mouthfeel and viscosity after 4 years of aging. Notes of darkest chocolate with bitter coffee and sweet maple syrup.

Bottled 01.31.22 - More effervescent and less viscous than similar beers. Flavor notes of very dark chocolate and coffee in addition to chocolate covered cherry notes on nose. Appreciate the more brut nature of this beer compared to others of the style.
