Can’t tell if it’s nostalgia playing tricks on me, or the old version was just a lot better. This is mostly coffee and a little bit of chocolate, where I remember the older version being much sweeter and more maple forward

Phenomenal. Mellow but flavorful. Toned down with age, but there’s a reason the bottle I got a year or so was my favorite beer ever. My expectations may have exceeded reality, but its an incredible beer. Draft and temp may have something to do with it

Underground Mountain Brown (2019) Krum

Doesn’t taste like a brown at all, more of a coffee stout. Tastes like burnt coffee though. Not great but not terrible

Solid beer. Reminds me of a black ipa. Dark and malty; kind of hoppy. A little smoky

Way better than expected. Very fruity and less spice than anticipated and very subtle. Perfect beer for a summer day. Similar to mango blue moon
