Wood-Aged Bitches Brew

Despite the generous honey flavor, this may be the driest imperial/double stout I've ever had. Slight umami presence. Roasty finish. Every bit as complicated as its namesake. Probably deserves a new style. Imperial dry stout. I like it.

Dear West Coast brewers, you know I love you and your west coast IPAs. Still, if you want to know what a NE IPA is about, this is a good example of what to do. Fremont gets it. East Coast gets it. Dogfish Head definitely gets it.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (2020)
