Porter Haik

Still one of the best porters in the state! Sweet dark roasted maltiness. Chocolatey and coffee roastiness. Bitter hoppiness. Smooth. Slight caramel. Dark, rich and sexy indeed.

Spruce Willis Haik

Malty. Spruce is there, but not overpowering. Sweetness from the malts. Light body.

Dizzy Double Dubbel Haik

Wow! Love me a dubble on a cold day, & this one taste excellent! I would say not very traditional, because it's hoppier then most, but the hops taste great in this one. Sweet medium roasted maltiness. Caramel. Full body. Boozy. Belgian yeasty!

Panther Cub (2021) Haik

Probably the lightest and least boozy bourbon barrel-aged beer I've tried. Just a hint of bourbon (slightly warming), the maple and vanilla are more potent. Sweet. Dark roasted maltiness. Chocolatey.

Spite Pale Ale Haik

All day IPA for base? This is a little spicy, but not too spicy. Jalapeños stand out. A little hoppy, but pepper flavor is most present.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019) Haik

*Bottled 9-20-19. A little less maple sweetness, which I prefer. Coffee and bourbon stand out more with age. Chocolatey, but that seems to have mellowed a little. Still sweet.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Haik

A little too sweet for me, but it's still very tasty, I just prefer the original KBS a little more. Chocolatey. Coffee. Bourbony. Maple. Warming.

Sweet. Taste a lot like a seltzer water. Bubbly. Grapefruity. Light body. Salty.

Blushing Padre (2020) Haik

Had this at Founders Fest last year... and now again. Blushing Monk is my favorite Founders fruity beer, until this. Just a little bit of tequila, but enough to take it to the next level. Strong raspberry flavor, plus Belgian yeasty. Full body. Sweet.

Passion Fruit Gose Haik

Fruity. Sweet. Tart. Light body. Passion fruit. Salty.

Mosaic Promise Haik

This was mostly what I drank while camping at Silver Lake. Light body. Sweet maltiness. Smooth. Bright. Citrusy hoppiness. An excellent Summertime beer.
