90 Minute Imperial IPA Swingle

Been a bit since I’ve revisited this beer. Seems danker than last time.

Alehouse 75 Swingle

Hoping for a better selection here but alas it’s a sea of IPAs.

Kbs Hazelnut April 2023 Swingle

Founders always delivers. Also- Dave picked my beer. Because it was the highest ABV on the menu. Because he’s 12….

120 Minute IPA (2015) Swingle

Still a large hop presence. Amazingly. Thanks for the gift, Gabe H.

4 Giants IPA Swingle

Beer 1 from BIF cooler. Aggressively hopped with a variety of different hops. Strange combination of tropical and slightly piney. I guess it’s appropriate for a mid-country brewery to try and blend WC and EC IPA but it’s a strange beast.

Kriek 100% Lambic Bio Swingle

Nice surprise to find this in northern Italy. Classic wild ale with good flavors and a cheeky tweak of the nose at the end.

120 Minute IPA (2018) Swingle

After having the 2016 and seeing the potential for aging, I find this to be lacking but it’s 1/20 after all so I had to. Here’s to 2024.

120 Minute IPA (2016) Swingle

A long time ago, when our friendship was nascent, Gabe Hattaway and I were talking about beer revelations and he told a story of a vertical of aged 120 minute. To that point I’d only ever had it fresh. Yes, my friend, four years makes this beer awesome!

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2018) Swingle

Smooth, sweet, syrupy goodness. Lots of beers aspiring to this and falling short. Restraint is often the key.
