Beautiful winter day for a hike. This is my first time on the Knobstone Trail - very nice! However, the first hill about killed me; I'm too old and fat for this shit. Replacing my fluids with delicious FCIPA.

Bruocsella 1900 Grand Cru Hickner
Nice. This is quite the experience. It came in a basket. I'm not a huge lambic fan, but this is pretty special. It should be for $60/bottle!

Wow, this was great. A little boozy, as it should be for 11.1% ABV. Lovely maple syrup French toast flavor.

Really nice new park in Zionsville. It is still under construction, but many of the trails are done. The mountain bike trails look really nice but we just stayed on the paved walking trails.

This is better than I remember. Really strong but smooth [could have something to do with the fact that I'm really tired and already pretty buzzed]. Another nice little downtown Muncie pub.

Good but definitely not my favorite KBS variant. This has much more of a sour vibe than the rest. I don't know how much of that is the hazelnut, and how much is from the barrels or brewing.

Strong and floral. Almost a little crunchy tasting - might be the oats and wheat. I don't LOVE the flavor, but it is awfully easy drinking for a DIPA.

Another great KBS! Strong but easily drinkable. Nice cinnamon and vanilla to balance out the coffee and chocolate.

Simply delightful! Very little coffee flavor but strong on vanilla and chocolate. The lactose and barrel aging give it more of a sweet caramel taste than boozy bourbon. Not a chugging beer but also not so heavy that you can only sip it.

Wait, what? Despite being from Founders, I didn't expect this to be something that I even finished. A grapefruit seltzer that Quentin left in the fridge? Surprisingly, it is quite tasty and refreshing, especially after push mowing the yard on a hot day.

From yesterday. I love these little old country golf courses. Rain cleared everybody else out so I (and the cicadas) had the course to myself. They don't sell beer here but actually invite you to bring your own... bonus!

I love Founders, but I'm always a little leery of milkshake IPAs - it's a fine balance between smooth and funky sweetness. This one is not bad, but I can definitely taste more oats, wheat, and lactose than hops. Drinkable, but I won't be buying more.

Delicious! Staycation day off work... let's get this party started! Local liquor store had 15-packs of this or Mosaic Promise for $17.49. I love them both but this has significantly higher ABV - easy choice!

Bam! This one is huge. It's not overly boozy, but still tastes very strong. Lots of oak and coffee flavor. It is good for what it is... but it is not what I love drinking. On the bright side - quick buzz!
