Quite good. On first taste a bit sweeter than I like but that resolved itself. Looks like reed pop and tastes like strawberries and melons with a salty sour finish. Really good.

When pouring the slightly reddish hue is noticeable. Very dark in the glass. Strong, hoppy, malty, bittersweet. An excellent Barleywine.

I was afraid this would be too sweet. Like drinking a chocolate CBS. Chocolate Fudge with coffee. The maple is mild. Strong. My first dessert beer.
