Very hoppy but not citrusy as expected. Between a 3.5 and 3.75 but then I have been spoiled by the DIPA’s for sure.

Utopias Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA Houser
This beer is a fantastic twist on the original 120 minute. Whata great idea to BA it. The Boston Beer partnership really upped this beer’s game. barleywine quality for sure.

Breakfast Stout Double Chocolate Houser
Coffee yes, chocolate no. Very disappointing given the strong recommendation from Tapped staff. Breakfast stouts have sweetness for me but this one although not thin has strong coffee roasty taste.

Very boozy and strong. There is a taste that lingers as an after taste but cold first impression is quite good.

Utopias Barrel - Aged World Wide Stout (2021) Houser
Lucky to be with SIL when he decided to try. Better than the oak aged one I had a few years back.I got a chocolate covered cherry taste even if not what they said in write up.

Underground Mountain Brown Houser
Never realized the caves below Grand Rapids held such a surprise. Very smooth barrel aged brown.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) Houser
The immediate nose is fudge and as it warms the coffee sneaks into it but smooth and consistent. You recognize KBS taste for sure. Thx SIL

Rich and delicious with more roasty coffee taste as it warms. Last gift beer in the fridge but a wonderful finale.
