Just a hint of pepper on the nose. A dusting of pepper up front with a nice coco powder body mid palate. A nice warm attractive pepper feel on the finish finishes a solid ride.

Really has a nice gingerbread cookie smell. The ginger hits hard up front. Then you get a bready body that quickly yields to burnt sugar feel that brings an astringent bitter feel to the finish.

Smells like barnyard and hand soap. Dry white wine with floral and herbal notes. I totally get the vinegar feel as well. An acquired taste, but I love it.

I was really worried about this one, but it has aged wonderfully. Funky tart raspberry tones. Jammy fruit body. This is lovely creamy and smooth. Damn.4.65

This has held up pretty well. Dry and roasty with a rich grainy feel. Cellar time has worked but it may be slightly past its prime.

Roasty and dry but sweet all at the same time. Rich dryness builds as you drink.

Has a bery chocolate based nose. Deep chocolate feel with a hint of cherry on the finish. It gets better as you drink. The integrated chocolate cherry feel grows. 4.15

Coffee and soft maple on the nose. Smooth creamy fudgy feel. Wonderfully rich feel. But not much maple on the flavor.

Once again, I love me a bourbon barrel aged scotch ale. This is great.
