Surprisingly tasty still. More complex than many fresh beers of the same genre. Excellent.

Very similar taste profile to the Breakfast Stout I just had but, boozier, less chocolate, more bitter. Especially in the long finish. Remarkably consistent.

Under appreciated IMO. Rich flavor, creamy, solid bitterness. 15 years ago it might have been thicker, more Stout like, but remarkably consistent over the years.

Better than the original stuff IMO. Not as much medicinal notes. Vanilla, chocolate, berry, barrel. Split a bottle with John. That was enough at one sitting.

Low price, Centennial hop piney bite, less malt than it used too have (IMO). Bargain.

Anyone remember Founders Harvest Celebration? Back when it was all about the beer (not the food). Miss those days.

I sure hope they have some of this stuff left. I need to buy another case.
Not sure why they make their best beer a local only bottle, but, glad I'm local.

Bought another case of this stuff today. Lots of hop resin, dank, sticky. Excellent.

Canned 7/22/22. Clean, tasty. Nicely carbonated. Light malt sweetness. Smooth and comfortable.

Best days of the year. Warm sun, cool breeze, late Summer early Fall in Michigan.

Sticky. Not as sweet as CBS. Brown Ale comes through. Actually finishes somewhat dry. Tasty. Thanks John!

2016 likely the last time I've had this. A shame, since it's very good. Scotch Ale like, but probably more hops than standard. Creamy. Very good.

Obviously not a Stout as Untappd says. Bottled 1/20/22. Hops pretty much gone. Basically a barrel aged Old Ale. Caramel, dark fruit, prune with some bitterness in the finish. Tastes pretty much like every other barrel aged Old Ale.

Checked this stuff in 1st time 2012. I was complaining about how it had changed over the years. I'm guessing N. Monroe will always be the sweet spot. Still tasty however.

Tasty low abv IPA. Very dry finish. Has some mouth feel. Very clear.
Spot on. Rich malt, touch of bitter hops. Perfect carbonation. Excellent.

Good beer, low price, available. Is it me or is "craft beer" the opposite lately. The Stone sale pretty much killed any beer snob I had left.

This stuff seems to vary from batch to batch. This bunch (5/3/22) is exceptionally good.

Fresh Citra hop punch with minimal malt. Excellent.

Took home a crowler of this stuff yesterday. Tasty Pale Ale @ 4.5% ABV. Clean, West Coast style. Very good.
This stuff seems to vary from batch to batch also. This batch dated 03.09.22 seems thinner.

This flavor profile has stayed very consistent over the years. Still tasty.

I'm kinda done with the year stuff here. They make this stuff year round now. Thanks John!

This is quite good. Not a heavy dipa. Hop bite. Almost a blood orange citrus. Not chewy or chalky. Very good.
Two days old and almost flat. You'd think they would know how to fill a crowler by now.

I'm not sure I ever really appreciated this stuff until this winter.

Bottled 7/29/21. Chocolate, coffee, barrel. Vanilla has dropped off. It actually also seems less sweet. Brown base beer more dominant. Very good on a snowy day.

All the flavors in this stuff are distinct and yet blended perfectly. Excellent.

Nice hop bite. Some dankness, some pepper, juice, aromatics. Finishes dry. Very good. Not a new can but still no oxidation. Founders knows how to can beer.
Not bad for $1.00. Some juicyness, nice dry hop. It's a lite beer and actually quite tasty. Made Marcia sneeze. Amarillo?

Wierd aftertaste. I'm thinking the epicenter of craft beer in Michigan has moved to the Southeast side of the state.

2021 version. Had this stuff once B4 in 2017. Likes it then and still do. Not overly sweet, nice tartness, creamy mouth feel. Could use a touch more carbonation. Very good.
Last one for probably quite awhile. Not sure why they dropped this. Most "seasonals" gone. Sad. Too much barrel capacity I'm guessing.
Calling this "Wheat" probably confuses people. It's not a wheat beer. It's a clear, clean, dank hop forward IPA. Very good. 3.9

Well, happy we can get this. I'm a Mosaic junky. Sorry for those elsewhere.

Great nose of chocolate, vanilla and barrel. Taste follows the same route. Less sticky than similar Stouts but not less flavor. In fact, maybe more as sweetness is subdued and ingredients move up. Long, tasty finish. Excellent.

So I've had a few of this years Oktoberfest beers and this is my favorite so far. Lots of flavor without being too much.
Say what you want about Founders but at least they know how to can beer. Very good.

Lots of Mosaic all the way through. Very good. I think this batch has less malt than normal. Really a West Coast Mosaic Bomb.

Haven't had this in quite awhile. Plenty of carbonation. Tasty, juicy flavor. Nice.
They must have made more than one batch on the old system. This tastes slightly different than the last howler. Not quite as much hop punch, thinner. But, still tasty.

Guess I can't buy what is arguably Founders best beer in cans this year. Thankful for the Detroit tap room brewer. Got a growler. And, 6.6% abv expands the flavor.

Howler. Been awhile since I hauled one of these home. Tasty. Not sure why this style isn't more popular. Let's all the parts shine through.

Canned 2/22/21. Seems danker than last time I had it. Solid bitterness. Definitely Midwest with solid malt profile.

~$1.00 per 12oz can. Great hop forward taste. Still a favorite.
Fudgie. Solid coffee also. Mild barrel. I've been drinking these 6 oz at a time which is just right for me. Very good.

Don't see this on Founders schedule for 2021, so one of the last ones for a year or more. ☹️
