Rich, thick fruity berry juice. I get some vanilla notes. More sweet than sour. Color is bright and opaque. This one is growing on me. Glad it’s seemingly part of the regular rotation now.

Fruity and bright, tart, balanced sweetness and acidity. Color is stunning after just two months in the bottle. Light carb dissipates quickly.

Awesome blend. Super fruity, tangy green apple skin and lemon rind. Frothy, lasting carb lends it a full mouthfeel. Funky, black peppery. Still fairly young so some slightly sharp edges but excellent nonetheless .

I’ve only had this lambic a couple times, one of the only “regular” Cantillons I’m not that familiar with. It’s really nice though, bright and fruity, medium acidity, green apple and oak. Cantillon brine. Thin mouthfeel due to light carb. 2022 bottling

Fresh Fou is always $$$$$$. Bottled 8.16.23. Prickly stone fruit, briney under-funk, kiss of oak. Gonna crush a dangerous amount of lambic during the next week or so. Yuh.

Consistently my fav gueuze. Funky, briney, overripe green apples, white grapes and oak. Cantillon gueuze never disappoints.

First time I’ve had this bottled, and I liked it a lot of draft but this is better. Fruit flavor seems richer, stronger, like a combo of raspberry and blueberry with a floral finish. More sweet than sour, less acidity than I remember.

First lambic of vacation week. Not the last. Tangy, briney Brussels funk and more melony dry hop flavors than I usually get from this beer. Never had this vintage though so maybe this was a good year.

One of the few Cantillon beers I will always drink fresh rather than aging it a bit. A perfect kriek IMO. The fresh cherry is tart and sweet and spicy in equal parts. So good.

Haven’t had this one in a while. Maltier than most Cantillon, a hint of tea flavor, tart and briney and funky. Quite fruity too. Nice beer.

Big, tart lemony lactic notes. More acidic than mostly Cantillon lambic, from the berries. Prominent Brussels briny funk. Strong, lasting fine carb. Good stuff.

Long work week in Miami, finally home so breaking out a celebratory bottle. Definitely get some nice sweetness from the brandy barrel. Soft oak, tangy, briny Brussels funk. Almost no carb at all after the initial pour.

This beer is amazing fresh. So tart and juicy, color is nuts. Hint of dark cherry spice. Briny Brussels funk throughout.

Had a bunch of these in my cellar for years, this is the last one. Eight years on and this is still great. Tart and funky but smooth and oakey as well. Bit of a boozy finish.

Crazy how bright the color of this beer is when it’s still fresh. Berries are just as bright and fruity, juicy acidity. Delicious.

Carb is off on this. Cork didn’t pop at all, and it’s almost completely still. It’s still tasty but I don’t think I’ve ever had an off bottle of gueuze from Cantillon before.

Bought this bottle from Brewer’s Fork shortly after the pandemic shut everything down. Been sleeping in my cellar since. Weird to think of those early days.

Perfect beer to celebrate the last night in Rozzie. Aged beautifully, almost smokey, and slightly sour. Perfection.

So good. Tangy and briny, a hint of tropical fruitiness on the finish. One of Cantillon’s most unique beers and always one of my favs.

Trademark briney Cantillon funk, spirits on the nose and just a bit in the taste. Color is clear gold. Fine, fizzy carb. Tart and complex, layered flavors.

Really tart and lemony. Some apple-y sweetness but this is more acidic than sweet. Tastes really “young,” lots of sharp edges.

Who let the gueuze out??? Whoop Whoop Whoop Whoop. I let the gueuze out. (whoop whoop whoop whoop)

Wow, super tart and acidic. Maybe the most sour Cantillon I’ve ever had. I get blueberries and raspberries, definitely some prickly berry acidity. Good carb. Good stuff.

Ridiculously good. Rich, intense cherry flavor. Notes of vanilla and cinnamon spice. Very mild funk. Just a perfect kriek.

Really funk, briney and tangy. Caramel notes from the oak. Good, thick mouthfeel. Lots going on. Complex and delicious beer.

This is ridiculously good. Jammy and sweet, funky and layered, notable black pepper spice, maybe some cinnamon, on the finish. Crazy complex beer. Maybe the best grape lambic I’ve ever had. Love this.

Cellar beer. Really jammy, a bit syrupy. Not as much funk as I’d expect. This one didn’t age all that well but still good.

Probably the freshest I’ve had a Cantillon kriek. Four months in the bottle. Color is glowing ruby. Taste is all sweet cherries, just a hint of spice. Very soft funk.

This is fucking 🔥 fresh. So much rich berry flavor, the color is nuts, glowing ruby. Perfect mouthfeel and carb. Fresh RdG > aged RdG every time.

Strong lemony acid notes. Cheesy funk. Really smooth, rich mouthfeel. Poured a glass and let it sit for like 10 mins, head was exactly the same as when I poured it.

One of my fav beers on the planet. Big juicy cherry, allspice and light acidity and funk. 🍒

Bright raspberry, puckering lactic acidity. Young, not as complex as it’ll get, light funk, but the fruit is front and center.

Awesome. Had last year’s version on draft a couple of times, and I don’t remember the vanilla coming through as strongly as it does here. Raspberry and vanilla are dominant but there’s just a bit of blueberry too. Lightly funky with a tart berry acidity

Oi. This is awesome. Most fresh I’ve ever had Fou. Bottled late August. Waves of juicy stone fruit, bright apricot-skin acidity. Soft Brussels funk. Direct from the source, a la their Autumn Pack. Slow poured in new Cantillon “magnifico” glass.

Hitting the cellar tonight. 🇺🇸 2014 vintage. This is great. Depth of Brett in this is impressive. Funky, tart and tangy. Hint of brine. Pale malt really sets this apart from other Cantillon lambic.

Herbal and slightly briney, Brussels funk. Green apple and elderflower. Goes still quickly, herbal flavors pop as it warms.

Wow, the port barrels really pop on this. Literally smells as much like port wine as lambic. Sweet wine notes and briney Brussels funk. Fruity and mildly acidic. Decanted for 30 mins. So good.

So good. Smells like fresh berries and Brussels funk. Fruity and juicy rhubarb, light funk and a hint of lemony lactic acidity.

Delicious. One of the better American marzens I’ve tried. Gimme all da marzenzes.

Guided tasting with Jean Van Roy. This is great already. Soft acidity, fruity and complex for a beer so young. Clear hints of cognac in the smell and just a bit in the taste. Decanted for 30 mins. “Like a mix of GCB and 50N” (not direct quote).
