Fruit forward for the this sour. Lovely berry taste with that great lambic tartness

Very different. Slight sweetness at first but then a sort of cheesy and iodine like aftertaste. Actually, very good. I really enjoyed it.

Zwanze Day 2024, beer #3: The actual Zwanze beer, and very much stuck to the brief. Bizarre and utterly bonkers, this tasted of the sea. Elevated with gouda and celery salt!

Well this one divided opinion! Sea lettuce infused lambic is very strange tasting, not so much saline but funky fermented apples, it’s hard to describe, you’ll just have to seek it out

Maybe not the best beer for a sunny beer garden, but it was a comprehensive tour of flavour town so you can’t argue 🤙

Lovely tart and fruity lambic, not too sour or vinous, can get the honeysuckle and blueberry. Easy drinking and refreshing with a little wildness at the end.

Keg. Immense lambic. Certainly gets your saliva glands flowing (TMI?). Lush fruity sour ale.

The revelation of the Cantillon range tonight, fresh hops lend a herbal edge to the beer that enhances the funk. Sublime stuff

A superb selection of Cantillon classics to limber the palate up before Zwanze 2022 is served. Starting with Classic 5.5%. This is lovely, fresh and herbal, funky and lip smacking.
