TOBC 01/22. Ik ben normaal niet zo van de brown ales maar deze bevalt me goed. Even in de koelkast gelegd voor een aangenamere temperatuur. Mooie schuimkraag en goede geur ook. Eerst koffie natuurlijk, daarna chocolade en door de melk zacht in de afdronk.

Chocolate coffee on nose. Smooth chocolate coffee. Reasty/hoppy/bitter finish, nice.

Good. Aroma is malty and caramelly with notes of coffee. Taste is caramelly malts, brown sugar and coffee tones. Hops is laidback and herbal. Finish is malty and slightly dry and bitter.

Skøn øl. Masser af bitter, mørk, ristet kaffe. Chokoladen kommer først senere, men overtager heldigvis ikke.

Ret fin Brown Ale. Kaffe smagen gør den ret godt. Nok en af de bedre Brown ales jeg har smagt.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a very dark brown to opaque with a small off-white to beige head and an aroma of coffee, roasted malts, chocolate, toffee and cherries. Medium sweet taste with a bitter finish and some sugarry sweetness sticking to the lips.

Cofee aromas upfront. Som hint and little sweet like brown ale tone.
