This is the best stout I've had to include chilli. Deliciously smooth, chocolate, vanilla, gorgeous rum from the barrel and a slight warmth from the chilli as a finish. A triumph.

Niet verkeerd, deze voornamelijk zoete en stroperige BA-versie. Mis alleen die subtiele, uitgebalanceerde backdraft van Chipotle en chili die het origineel zo indrukwekkend maakte. Maar dat was alweer lang geleden 🤔

Wow. Slight carbonisation on pouring, almost zero nose, subtle dark rum flavours and a really delicate chilli warmth that goes straight your head bypassing your mouth. Bliss. Really well conditioned too. Nice job.

Syvä, kompleksinen, makean mausteinen ja tuhdin alkoholinen. Tuntuvaa BA:ta. Ei mikään riitasoinnuttomin tapaus, mutta kokonaisuus on rikas, runsas ja antoisa, ja lopun happamuus antaa tälle oman sävayksensä. 4,3/5.

Deep, velvety, the chipotle adds smoky flavour and the chilli adds heat, the rum barrels make it boozy but the rum complements the spice perfectly. It doesn’t get any better than this.

Flinke klapper, mede door z'n 15%. Zoetigheid, gecombineerd met tonen van peper en iets dat lijkt op salmiak. Met recht eentje met een ziel.
