Movie Night BA Stewart

Bright lights of North London from my temporary hotel base. Even bought one of my Vietnamese glasses for my stay. Barrel aged chocolate and coffee notes. Rich, roasty and luxurious. Like a cake. Lovely.

Ramen To Bíiru Yuzu Stewart

A table beer at 5%? That’s a Belgian table beer then. At least the photo of my beer is on a table. I’m sure the yuzu is there, but I’m getting a lemony taste which is light and refreshing. Not bad.

Cù't Cá Phê Bia Stewart

Made from coffee beans that a South American stout shits out. Not getting that, it’s a smooth IS, coffee led, creamy, nice. Great to be back here.

Castle Black Stout Stewart

This is cake. A chocolate fudge cake in a glass. Stunning, sweet, but not overly sweet, all the flavours there. Outstanding

Beer Geek Breakfast Stewart

First I had breakfast. Seems a bit gassy, plenty of coffee, draft so might need warming. Ok

George! Stewart

So many imperial stouts promise vanilla. This is vanilla led with a decent amount of not too bitter coffee in the background. Outstanding.

A quick 1/3 before my last stout. Rating average, tastes average. Ok.

Unblended Oude Lambiek Foeder #99 (2012) Stewart

Very lucky to have this. Out of production, got the last bit as the barrel had gone. Too much going on to explain how good this is.

Madeira barrels on the nose. Smooth. Sweetness of the sherry coming through. Like a fruit cake. Getting better as it warms. Nice
