Mums. Dadlar, fikon och en härlig fatmix av portvin och bourbon. Skitgott. Alkoholen värmer gott!

Port dominates the nose with raisins and figs. Taste is sweet, sticky, slightly boozy, a lot of port barrels still but hints of the bourbon in the finish. Will probably age incredibly well.

Ölpsykopaterna på To lever farligt i sina laborationer men det är också det jag gillar med dom. Den här är kanske något i sötaste laget för mig men var ändå noll problem att dricka en flaska själv vilket är ett tecken på att det är bra grejer 😄

Lovely stuff. Fav style of mine and this one delivered in that departement. Sweet dried dark fruits and toffee. Brown sugar. Hints of oak and vanilla. Fine bourbon goodness throughout. The port wine is there in the back as well. Lovely alcohol heat 👌

The first thing you smell is the port barrel. The taste is full, sweet and almost silky. Despite it's high abv it's not boozy. I detect some plum and dried fruit. This is really nice and exactly what I look for in a barley wine.

Doftar sött och kryddigt. Portvin och lätt bourbon. Lätt vinös med mängder av Portvin, russin och kryddor. Bourbon finns där men mest i bakgrunden. Ruggigt jäkla smarrig! 4.45

Wat een toetje. Heerlijk zacht, goede bourbonsmaak (maar niet te overheersend) en zalige lange afdronk. Gaat bijna richting een likeur. Mooie afsluiting van een geslaagde middag en avond. Jammer van die avondklok…

The barley wine itself is a bit anonymous, despite the 15,5% ABV. Mainly caramel, with perfect sweetness level. The double barrels, however, create magic. Intense port notions, fortified with vanilla, that lingers accompanied by lovely warming! Love it!

Hazy orange/red beer with no head. Medium/heavy aroma; taste starts heavy sweet and ends slightly bitter and dry. Bourbon, vanilla, wine and fruit. 8/5/10/4

Dark orange with beige head. Nice caramel, dried fruit, cotton candy, some port, bourbon, sweet. Very nalanced and wasy drinkable for abv.
