Pours an oily black with no head. Bourbon dominate on the nose with some nuttiness and chocolate malts. Bourbon on tasting too, hazelnut, black treacle, dark chocolate with some rye spice on the finish. Well balanced. Sticky body and boozy. Very good.

Well balanced overall. Smooth and slightly syrupy, with a decent kick. Unfortunately, almost no barrel influence at all.

Stout. BA. Koffie. Chocola. Hazelnoot. Vanille. Straf, 13,5%. This beer is a blend of 3 different base beers, using some of the ingredients from Mash Test Yummies. It was a case of having some wood barrels available and some spare beer to trial.

Virkeligt virkeligt sød, næsten for meget. Smag af rosiner og dadler, god men mild karbonering. Meget kraftig og varmende smag. Skal helt bestemt holdes på hylden i et par år mere

Het seizoen is toch nog enigszins geslaagd door twee keer de derby winnend op onze naam te zetten. Daarentegen was de spanning iets minder in onze straat vanwege een stroomstoring. Het werd dus ouderwets buurten met elkaar. Leuk, maar nergens spannend.
