Adambier

Historical Beer - Adambier

Originally released last year as our Batch #100 - our Adambier makes a return, simply under the name Adambier! Adambier is an old German style of strong ale, rooted in the tradition of the city of Dortmund. It is a rich, dark and satisfying ale, brewed with a wide range of different malts - both caramelized, roasted and peat-smoked - to create a complex ale with notes of dark fruits, leather, honey and chocolate.

This isca brew to talk about. It is thick with tastes. I like it a lot. Actually my favorite of the taps here, but you can't drink many.

Beer flight #3. Didn't expect to get a beer style I've never had before. On top of that it tastes fantastic, malty, caramelly, fruity and slightly smoky. Love it!

Raisin-like and malty taste, very sweet in a slightly Belgian -like way. slightly roasted and creamy in textures with good mouth feel but not in a stout-ish way

Great soft and smooth dark bock kinda type beer. Complex with burnt caramel and a tad of liquorice. A very small smoke hint that could be bigger.

• nearest knejpe to my new work and it’s been years since my last visit here • probably my 1st Adambier 🇩🇪 • Bock-ish aroma as U.O pinpoints • strong malty 10.5 with some - licorice - caramel - tiny smoke (could wish for more in 1 and 3) • 😌🙏🏼Hector
