Part V of the suitcase chronicles? I don’t think I have any more smuggled beer. 2020 was fucking horrible.

Ohhh, ist das fein! Bottled: November 2017... ein rundum gelungenes Sauerbier mit Himbeeren. Da passt alles perfekt zusammen. Trocken, sauer, fruchtig, perfekt karbonisiert.

Ephemeral but rosé foam over a bright and deep red brew with medium body and carbonization. Taste is dry, crispy sourness, mainly of fruity raspberries and dextrose. Floral notes of lactic acid come through quite well and make it pleasingly tart!

A work of art in a bottle. Light raspberry + that classic smooth lambic funk. Great to share on NYE. Can't wait to get back to Brussels to re-visit Cantillon.

Great balance, cherries and raspberries with hints of honey and then soft spices. Fruity bit not too much tart but not too much - this is brilliant beer
