I observed last year that this goes surprisingly well with gingerbread mince pies. We have confirmed this hypothesis. Beer's still great, obviously.

What a beer. Dry and tart and light and dank and slightly appley and allround amazing. One of the remaining Grand Départ beers.

2017 bottling. Great Christmas Day Breakfast beer! A bit of minerally zing on the nose to put a spring in ya step! Great palate, full bodied with a tiny bit of malt sweetness initially and a super dry peppery acidic finish.
