TBT. Drank between 2010-13. Frank D used to open bottles of 1994, and 1996 pretty often. We usually preferred the ‘96 but Mid 90s Cantillon is still some of my favorite lambic every brewed. Oak, peach, horseblanket, minerals, lemon, and house bacteria.

Crazy good for what it is. Once it opened up it lost a bit of its charm but this was much softer and less acidity than most cantillon even a third of it'd age. Some bright lemon notes but was also a little buttery but what a crazy pop once opened!

I can't wrap my mind around how amazing this was for a 28 year old lambic. Something they did back then was absolute magic. One of the best beers of the night.
