#TBT: (4/26/16) good way to finish out the Euro trip. Probably a 15 bottle, but who the hell knows. Purchased at Bierkoning: Cherry pie and candy cherry goodness as is tradition with this one.

4/26/16 bottle. Nose smells like Cantillon’s cellar: dusty wood, leather, and basement funk. Flavor is unbelievably bright cherry and lemon juice, cherry candy, horseblanket, and Brussels airborne bacteria. Heavenly batch of my favorite kriek. 4.7

For my money, this is one of the best krieks around. Soft and supple, like that patch of skin behind an old man's knees

N: reife Kirschen, gut ausgewogen mit der Brettnote G: super ausgewogen, Kirsche, Säure, Brettnote kommt gut durch aber nicht aggresiv, vollmundig, süsse

Such an AWESOME spice note to finish the palate. I did just drink a glass of Noah’s Mill. whatever. This is just juice for the soul. I am a massive fucking fan.

Fine red color, no foam. Aroma: fine sour cherry, flavor: spritzy, dry, long lasting round cherry taste, very fine tartness, maybe a hint of oak, extremely pleasant linger
