Celebrating being old by popping the oldest bottle in my relatively young cellar. Definitely wine-like with a big leathery funk and some restraint on the sourness.

Definitely improved with age. Still no carbonation but great funky, fruity arrival, dry finish, bit weak on the mid palate

Eiken, citrus, honing, perzik uit blik. Droog en zuur. Kelderstof. Lange nasmaak met vrijwel geen koolzuur . Verbazingwekkend complex.

Schmeckt wie Iris ohne Kohlensäure. Ordentliche Hopfennote, leichte Weinsäure. Sehr gut.

This is an absolute classic! Such an interesting beer. Full and complex flavor.

Bottled 25.8.17. Last time I had this it was totally flat. There’s a fair level of carbonation now (not quite gueuze amount though) and it’s amazing.

Outstanding Lambic. Moldy, musty. Leathery, dry. Floral. Malty, grainy, sweet. Wild, rustic, elegant. Apple and stone fruits. Acidic and astringent. Huge woody/oakey grip. A beauty. Robust. Low-medium bodied, silky, mineral, soft, flat. So easy. Monster.
