Kriek 100% Lambic Bio (2021) Mould

750, 30.8.21. Bit shaken, so not a totally clear pour. Bit sharper than I normally like.

Vigneronne (2021) Mould

750, 7.10.21. That lovely but rare sourness without astringency. Vinous aroma, sweet palate layer. Short finish.

CuvƩe Saint-Gilloise (Champions) (2023) Mould

Pleased to happen across the last bottle of this in GW. 16.2.23. This beer is hard to beat. I love the fruit Cantillon, but this, when fresh, at 5%, dialled down acidity, gentle euro hops, represents beer craft at its peak.

Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio (2014) Mould

The first part of the date has rubbed off, but I can see it begins with a 2…, Jan 2016 (maybe 2018?) Bit like apple and grape juice. Nice, but I prefer a gueuze I think. Having said that, it’d be ace served a little colder from a clay jug on a hot day.

Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio (2014-2015) Mould

Bottled 25.8.17. Last time I had this it was totally flat. There’s a fair level of carbonation now (not quite gueuze amount though) and it’s amazing.

RosƩ de Gambrinus (2018) Mould

750, 8.3.18. Now that Beers Of Europe has started selling Cantillon at Ā£25+ per 750, I’m pretty upset that I’ll not be buying this beer again unless I’m Belgium. Pity, as this is fucking glorious.
