This has to be an acquired taste, its not an easy drink, However for those that enjoy this style I'm sure it's wonderful.One day my pallete may progress, nevertheless I can taste depth, layers of flavour.Interesting but reminds me of homework, a challenge

Dry and sour with a good malty level. Chardonnay flavoured with bitter tones. Reminds me of champagne with a beer base. Interesting.

Really interesting beer and full of complex flavour but the bitterness is a little too sour for my taste

Funkier than my friends who had this in bottles 7 years ago - really nice and white wine vinous. Nelson is under it but not prominent. Such a treat.

The most wine-like beer I’ve had. Sharp, zesty, citrus and gooseberry. As if it was a Sauvignon blanc from Marlborough, NZ. The balance is strangely what truly makes it special, with enough of a malt bill in there to make it beer and exceptional.

A hint of bitterness, a hint of sourness, lovely colour and lovely body. Unreal. Could have a few of these if they weren’t £9/400ml 😮💨

Wine notes come through at the end but are immediately drowned out by the bitterness. A little thin flavorwise too

Tydligt syrlig, vinös doft med mycket druvor. Mycket torr. Smak av druvor, halm, grönt äpple. Väldigt tydliga fat-toner. Mycket långvarig. Smarrig! Bra start på resan.
