Those cherries are beautiful, think the base beer was good to but the combo is a bit of a difficult marriage. There’s cherries and some sweet tart cherry tones, there’s bitters, dryness, malts/grains, it’s a bit weird but not bad!

Cherry boozy . At Mikkeller Hop Topics. This month is Aphrodisiac Beers! This ingredient is chocolate. I’ve had this on draft and liked it better than the bottle.

Definitely give this a try. More like wine than beer. Doesn’t have the Maillard aroma or flavor expected of a Doppelbock, but Eisbocks don’t require this. Is it called Tripplebock for marketing purposes? Probably, but categories are made to be broken.

Tarty and very full bodied. Had this in Mexico, so definitely a welcomed taste in a land that is mostly lagers and pilsners.
