Best before 2016. Still good. Round sweet aroma with notes of caramel, dark fruits & syrup based bread. Smooth mouthfeel. Taste of dark fruits, caramel, figs, Christmas bread & mild red fruits. Tingly bitterness. Lingering finish. Very well hidden abv.

Pretty good for being the last draw of the keg. I must try this on a freshly tapped keg 😁

Advent calendar beer #24… did my best, but Noel will have to wait until I can share it with a friend!! This is one I’ve had for a while. Saving it for something special, but luckily, it’s done well with time. Hopefully like me ;). Haha.

Another complex win from Mikkeller. It reminds me of bananas foster, with notes of banana, caramel, and cinnamon. The finish has a lovely burnt caramel banana flavor. It is dark, yet surprisingly not overly heavy. Super enjoyable!

Aahh, great! Big fermented dark fruits flavour, some caramel, molasses, later light toasted malts, brown sugar. Sweet, sticky, light spices, lightly boozy.
