Andra incheckningen & måste säga att Mikkeller har lyckats bättre än vanligt med denna. Behåller det extremt höga betyget för denna typ av öl, men den är bra!!! Riktigt bra!

Coffee, vanilla and maple syrup on the aroma. The flavour has creaminess from the oats and lactose and the coffee bitterness keeps the maple and vanilla sweetness at bay, maybe a bit too much. I would have liked more sweetness in this beer.

Heerlijke volle zoete smaak. Koffie, vanille en esdoornsiroop. Bijna een pastry stout maar gelukkig net wat minder dik en zoet. Mooie balans.

So much maple. Uber dark choc bitterness which bleeds into coffee. This is a savage beer but in a delicious way. Wow.

Vanilla mixed with maple syrup. Bitterish finish. Complex aroma with floral and herbal hints. Great "old school" Imperial Stout, one of those sweet and luscious things before the Pastry Stouts took over.

This beer is awesome! Huge amount of maple, on top of a nice stout—coffee and vanilla notes. Hides that 11.8% very well, nice body. Really good! 8.8

Pours thick black, small dark brown tight head, nose is sweet maple, smooth thick body, vanilla, roasty, strong coffee and a little too bitter on the end as per Mikkeller normal style. Big warming beer.

Thick, decadent, rich AF. Solid beer that ticked all the boxes I look for in a pastry. Bit heavy on the maple though. Bit syrupy.
