Hearty and full-flavored and an honor to get to enjoy on draft at a Mikkeller establishment in Copenhagen. I enjoyed reading that this was the beer that got Mikkeller started. I can see why.

It's been ages since i had something from Mikkeller. Does not dissapoint. Strong, dark, but not acrid coffee. Chocolate notes. Smooth and oaty.

Opaque black beer with a slight brown head. Medium/heavy aroma; taste starts medium sweet and ends slightly bitter and dry. Chocolate, roasted malts, coffee and hops. 8/5/9/4

Still a great beer after all these years. Slight smoke, lovely sweet chocolate, bitter dark choco, and a nice roasty coffee edge. Bit of hop even. Love it
