Version 12 degré pas de la meme annee (cf. Precedent check), bien moins sucree et bien plus vineuse. Bcp plus interessante (complexe, vieux tonneau) pour les amateurs de barley aventureux.

Yeah, well, it's actually 14.4 ABV!! And actually also pretty good, pretty sweet, it's barley wine, yeah! I was so scared it'd be Belgian farmhouse ale but it wasn't, yeah! 2 years in the cellar, smooth! Smooth yeah, yeah smooth.

Roasted malts, caramel, malty, toffee, dark fruits, esteric, toasted nose. Flavor is heavy sweet, caramelish, toffee, toasted malty, bready, cereal, slight boozy ending. Body is med, text is oily, aver carb. Sweet and balanced.

Vuodelta 2016 ja on siinä hilkulla, onko aika jyrännyt yli. Lähes hiilihapoton, todella pehmeä, rusinainen, toffeinen jne. Tuoreena oli ehkä enemmän jylinää.

Nice aroma, not overly sweet. Flavor is subtle for a barleywine, but hangs on the tongue. Overall just okay.

First time at Miramar Mikkeller which used to be Alesmith according to the bartender. Good ol regular barleywine.
