Ginger, Spice, Barreled And Nice Lee
It's a bit spice overload when warm but actually pretty good after warming up a bit.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2023) Lee
Beyond Wegmans mix six, I bought a single bottle of CBS. It's perfectly fine but I'm happy to go back only buying them to fill out my mix six because I don't see color!

I think the 2019 batch might be one of the punchier batches. Despite being 4 years old, it still has a bite but I do love finding vintage 120 minutes.

World Wide Stout - Bourbon Barrel Aged Lee
Much better than regular (2023 version). I'm not sure about the age but it's got some heavy boozy bite.

I went to DFH Fairfax to try this and the keg kicked and they're closing in 2 months. Such a shame. This is surprisingly smooth.

Ultimate Oktoberfest (2022) Lee
A high abv Oktoberfest beer aged for a year caught my interest. I didn't drink it fresh but it's a perfectly fine beer now.

Better cold than maple syrup gets more heavy as it warms up.

One of my rare broke down and I added a Founders to my mix six.

French Toast Bastard (2019) Lee
Not really a beer that should be aged. Hint of maple syrup and cinnamon.

Utopias Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA Lee
First sip was boozy, manageable after that. Definitely does not taste like an IPA, more like a boozy barleywine. Now that I've had one fresh, looking forward to see how it changes with age.

Chewy as hell, lots of licorice (too much), got some good heat despite some aging behind it. No way I could do more than 5 oz.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2018) Lee
It's definitely on the decline but it's holding up ok which wasn't the case for the bottles that I had. There's still a bit of maple syrup sweetness and then chocolate, not much else. I'm surprised to see a keg of this out in the wild.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2017) Lee
My 11th and likely my last check in for the 2017 version. I loved this fresh but it's definitely declined. It's better than the last time I had it, it has some chocolate and maple and a bit of soy. And this may be my last Founders check in ever!

Seems like at least 4 years (and more is probably better) is the sweet spot. Tasting amazing now. I hope I can find more aged one laying around in San Diego.

Oak-Aged Vanilla World Wide Stout Lee
This is my last beer that I brought from Virginia. It might not age well but I suspect I didn't store it properly in move over because it tastes like garbage. I loved the previous versions but this taste like soy sauce. Bottling date around 2017.

First time at Miramar Mikkeller which used to be Alesmith according to the bartender. Good ol regular barleywine.

Some Christmas in SD in April. I'm starting to like winter ales more lately.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019) Lee
Hate drinking and last bottle from Costco. Holds up well, some maple, some chocolate.

Still one of my favorite BB scotch ales. Missed 2019 but so I decided to pick this one up.

From 10/20 bottling run. Doing some hate drinking from these bastards. I do appreciate Bottlecraft playing Japanese Breakfast for me while visiting the store.

The label is smudged but I think it's a 2018. Only 2 years old but tasting good.
