(3.6) bb ‘19 - Clear oxidation w. sherry, no cardboard but a slight staleness to it. Other than that it carries rich dark fruits, candy and toffee sweetness along w. malty caramel vibes. Finish is boozy warmth, fruity & sweet. Weak carbonation. Don’t age

More British than American, which makes some sense. Not my new favourite barleywine, but a worthy drink to harden my liver.

Pours a clear amber color with nearly no head and clearly lacking carbonation. Aroma of soy, toffee, citrus hops and a faint bit of chlorine. The taste is toffee, citrus, raisins, soy, faint candied fruits and a salty finish.

Expected sweetness. Not as thick or heavy as many barleywines.

Lots of brown sugar and caramel, boozy, yeasty aromas with faint smoky phenol. Goes down a little too easily.
