I can see why they put this in the barleywine category, even though it's, like, twice as alcoholic. Similar mouthfeel, but with a quality citrus hop profile.

Brouwers Hard Liver Barleywine Fest: the age brought out the fruitiness. Still great five years later.

More British than American, which makes some sense. Not my new favourite barleywine, but a worthy drink to harden my liver.

Not ultra-sweet, but really interesting flavor on the floral side. Way above average barleywine.
