Pepper on the nose. Mushroom umami in the flavor. Unlike any other lambic I've had this trip.

Light and floral. Almost rose-like. ....and of course this random restaurant has 6 different Cantillon bottles. Props to my Untappd-stalking friends from 3F!

Haven't had this in a long time. Still holds up to how good I remember it being.

Very floral - strong elderflower on the nose, a slightly sweet taste.

Deep grape notes with oak and a touch of funk. Very smooth. Among my favorite fruited lambics.

Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio Beck
Sharp with lemon notes and a bit of funk. Would be better carbonated.

Smooth and rich. Malty and rich with a bit of hops. This has aged well.

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 110 Mono Blend Beck
Deep with boozy barrel notes. The cognac smooths everything out. The Gueze flavors aren't as sharp as 108, but the overall experience is thick, rich, and superb.

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 108 Mono Blend Beck
Acid and wine notes, with the standard Gueze funkiness. This one is delicious and definitely a step up from 91/92.

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 91 Mono Blend Beck
Soft and gentle. Floral nose, but the flavor makes you search rather than punching you on the mouth.

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 92 Mono Blend Beck
Sharp and acidic. A bit of smoke and obvious barrel. Sour funk on the end.

Oaky and funky. Great core apricot flavor without being sweet. Has a depth of flavor throughout - no real weaknesses.

Geuze Mariage Parfait (2014) Beck
Funky and moderately sour. Less depth than a 3F or Boon, but not bad.

Oude Geuze Boon Black Label Beck
Quite carbonated. Funky, tart, more of a champagne feel. Quite complex.

Oude Geuze Boon à L'Ancienne - Vat 86 Mono Blend Beck
Funky, lots of oak. Sour without any strong fruit or grass notes

Cuvée Saint-Gilloise (Champions) Beck
Well aged beer for a well aged birthday. Darker in color. The dry hops give it an earthy funk. Distinctly sour and pleasantly complex.

Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio (2018) Beck
Funky, oxidized with white wine notes. No carbonation, but grape and acid notes mingle into something rather complex.

Lightly tart, funky with apricot and vanilla notes.

Oude Geuze Boon Black Label Edition N°3 Beck
Tart and funky but not that different from standard Boon as far as I can tell.

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 108 Mono Blend Beck
Sour apple with lots of wood. Notes of pear and funky white wine. Sharp and a shifting funkiness - some sips are sour, some are mostly fruit. Deeply complex and quite the experience.

Very smooth. Bourbon on the front, maple sweetness on the back. The flavors aren't as intense as many barrel barleywines, but they're still nice. ABV is well hidden.

Oude Geuze White Vermouth Foeders Beck
Super carbonated. Lots of sediment in large (up to 5x5mm) chunks. Sour with strong vermouth notes. Interesting beer but I'd rather just drink vermouth neat - I don't think the beer improves on that.
