Palo Santo Marron (2017) Hanson
Right. Woody as hell, malt astringency and light caramel/vanilla behind. Been a minute, missed this

Juicy and sweet, orange peel, hint of grapefruit to finish. Would repeat, this is good

Rich, not as aggressive as fresh but still nice bitterness and boozy syrup. This aged exceptionally well

Thanks to Silviu for this. Think a slightly sweet white wine with a bit of fizz, or a beermosa. Pretty tasty, a change from my usual.

Very good. Big body, bourbon blast, port richness. Yummy.

Big ol blast of booze and hops. Aggressive and a little sweet. Still a classic, first time I’ve had somewhat fresh in a while

For me the carbonation just distracted from what I’m sure are excellent adjuncts. Left me kind of bored of this one

World Wide Stout (2010) Hanson
Sweetness has really come through. Tastes like malty chocolate figs. Huge fan.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) Hanson
Fudgy as ... fudge? Nice hints of coffee underneath. They should’ve done this for cbs. Great beer.

Basically a very hoppy, very well done barleywine. I’m not complaining.

French Toast Bastard (2019) Hanson
Super maple-y. Vanilla, sugar and booze. Pretty decadent—like a shot of bourbon with your brunch.
