Crazy shit. Coffee, dark chocolate, roasty, bitter, licorice. Strong and intense. Lasting finish.

Cellared back in Sept. 2014. The time has really mellowed out the heat and the finish is dark chocolate bitter. Really nice.

Head is smoother than most imperial I've tasted. Really good chocolaty after tasted.

Very bold beer. Lots of sweetness, but balanced with bitterness. Dark chocolate and coffee flavors. Strong and boozy.

Full of smoked, strong cacao aromas. The champagne flavors are present once you taste it and still feeling the strong cacao flavor. Wonderful but still missing some body like the best beers

Heel intens. Verdeel alcohol. Droog, bitter, pure chocolade, espresso, pepertje. Niet bepaald subtiel, wel indrukwekkend.

Bottle probably 4 years old. This is mind blowing. Huge malt, vanilla sugar, coffee syrup. Nicely bitter, ropey molasses finish.

Leah could not finish this so I’m helping. My god this is strong! Deep deep molasses with some charred caramel and toffee. Not a beer for the faint of heart at 17%

This is one of the better text book stouts out there. Everything about it is in it's prime! Nothing to complain about. It is the primal stout. Great on it's own and a perfect base for barreling.

Había probado esta poderosa Imperial Stout en lata hace 2 años con 16% de alcohol y ahora la volví a encontrar pero en botella y con 15% de alcohol, mis respetos para esta cerveza que parece petróleo al servirse en copa. Notas acarameladas van de la mano.

Had this in storage for 7 years. It was very boozy when fresh. Not boozy at all now, but coffee-flavours and aroma has poppes out! Still good, very distinct flavours. Maturing/storage is funny :-)
