Had a bottle labeled at %15, but still very good. Extremely sweet but balanced milk chocolate & coffee.

1/3 pint (£5). It's a 17.5% Imperial Stout...and I'm drinking it while eating tropical-flavoured ice creams from a bucket and spade...which makes it difficult to judge! It's nice and boozy with dark chocolate, liquorice and sweet raisins.

Dark fruity bitter chocolate, faint burnt fruitcake, phenolic, bitter coffee subtle vanilla, cocoa aroma with a faint minty chocolatey, mild sweet roasted, black, toasted malty nose and a warmth sweet fruity roasted, black malty, coffee, bitter hop taste.

Really interesting. Salt and sweet to the max. Boozy as hell. One of the most interesting beers I've ever had.

Interesting, dark fruit, dark chocolate, bitter coffee all intertwined with ash, tar like flavours. Good body with moderate 17% booziness. Thanks B

Flick yeah. There seems to be different versions of this. I’m on a 16.8%er in London. Full on assault of flavours, finding with coffee bitterness. You need to come here.

Strong, rich and thick delicacy: strong coffee and whiskey aromas, chocolate, vanilla and dried fruits notes, sweet taste that leads to dry, bitter and roasty finish and long and roasty aftertaste 🍻

Finally got to it in the top cellar. Sugars and champagne yeast and such. A measly 15%. Very lovely! Emboldens me.

Mine says 16.5%. I believe it’s a 2012 or 2013. I see soMe soy sauce posts but not mine. Actually quite good. Tons of booze. Enjoyed.

Complex nose with sweet liquorice, candied and dried fruits and roast. Sweet and boozy with liquorice, roast and molasses. Finish gets rather bitter at first but as warmth catch up it levels out more. Slightly demanding but nice.

Alcohol….! Sweet, boozy, roasted, caramel. Black (!) no head. Full. As good as it ever was. Best before 2017. Still great!
