I wanna say...2014 (cellar). Roast is more prominent. Booze has not (and likely will never) mellow. Warming...which is ironic when it's 27 Celsius outside with humidity...Accompanying...nothing right now. Happy anniversary to me!

Daaaaaamn. Nigh on to 6 years in the cellar has done little to tame this magnificent beast. And for me that is a great thing. One of my faves, and an excellent choice for #internationalbeerday 🍻 Cheers All!!

One for the ages. Likes of this do not come very often. The weak are intimitated by the thickness and heaviness of this spirit. Truly something one should savour.

Elegante, inteligente e evoluída. Marca de nível evidente. Batch 2012. Ainda mantém sutil café. Álcool marcante mas equilibrado. F/55.

Had this on my fridge for about six years now. BBD of 2025. Aroma has a little funk due to green bottle. Choco nibs and burnt toast. Ketchup chips from high ABV. Beautiful length. Go BILLS!

It's 18% and is still the best; luxury. The Crow, Sheffield yesterday

Fan-fucking-tastic 15% super dark imperial stout. Remarkably, not boozy or overly sweet. Balanced, burnt graham crackers, dark chocolate

Sweet Mother Mary. Super hot, but way more balanced than some. Glorious.

The arrival of my kingdom’s Princess begets not just one or two celebrators; nay, we shall have more! And wow. 7 years in the cellar have barely put a dent in this beast, and of that I wholeheartedly approve. #beersthatfuck

It tries to hide the 17%, but there's a warm aftertaste, like from a liquor

For the first time ever (um, since I started working a full time job), I have 5 weeks off. It’s time to open something big to celebrate. Nigh on to 8 years in the cellar, and this luscious beast has settled a bit, but still retains its full awesomeness.

Does have a bit of a bitter edge, but it’s delicious.

Best before: 07/10/29. Super smooth, to an extent I have a hard time believing. Aftertaste is almost a bit bitter, but chocolate bitter. Maybe some anise on the aftertaste? I could see this putting some people off, but this is really interesting.

I don’t know why this is rated so low. This is one of the best stouts I’ve ever had.

Perfect after a run, like cold coffee with 15% alcohol

Our last bottle of what's been one of my favourite beers in the world for about a dozen years now. And it's still sensational.

One of my oldest stash bottles. Dark inky black in colour. Rich, dark, boozy as fuck with roasted coffee and dark chocolate bitterness and a hint of sweetness. In the time I’ve owned this very bottle I’ve logged another 2999 other beers on Untappd. #3000
