Lovely, but I really just wanted this to taste like boozey Ribena, so not quite as strong as I wanted. But still a nice Tuesday night barrel-aged fruit beer. 🤓👍

The nose is 100% cassis jam. Taste is extremely tart, almost vinegary aftertaste. An impressive beer, but perhaps a bit too much?

A strong cassis lambic. All the usual notes, just more of them. The difference is the oak, which brings a strong oaky dryness to the backside of the body and the finish. If you like the oak presence, you will love this!

Strong sour berry aroma. Sour, tart, earthy, with tons of black currant flavor. Nice fruited sour!

LCI (tasting notes faded ) The whole. series is good. Dont excpect them to have that wow factor. Good base brew nice additives

Dec 20 2015. 375ml bottle. Aroma is light blackberries, some thorns. Taste is good sour blackberries with a nice thorny bitterness on the finish. Would’ve liked more berry fruitiness but it’s still a great spontan.

Sharpness dies on this pretty quickly for me and initial taste brings vimto to mind. Again, more drinkable than i thought and quite enjoying it.
