Smells delicious from the get-go. Dark but mild on the backend. Sweet but not overwhelming.

Ağır ama güzel; boş yere alkol ağırlığı vermiyor. Oldukça tatlı çikolata-vari bir tadı var kahveye benzettiğim esintilerle. Ben çok beğendim Belçika karakteri kendini belli ediyor. (Yeni Duvel bardağı da yakıştı :) )

Dark fruits, plums, figs, dark malts, licorice. Belgian yeast. Proper Belgian dark strong ale. Over carbonated bottle conditioned though. Almost climbed out of the bottle on its own. Best before 26/10/25.

Woda z wódą i wysokim wysyceniem. Dawno nie piłem tak pustego piwa o tym woltażu:(

Covid catch-up check-in: Tucked away in the cellar so have to assume it was from the 2014 release - held up pretty well.

Super sunday, nog een topper te pakken..Mooie typische belgische smaak, lekker zoetje, iets een zuurtje en een tikkeltje alcoholisch maar ook wel weer mooi zacht 🙌

Wow... lots of prune, cherry aroma transfers to the palate. SRM comes in at about 18. Low bitterness with a semi dry finish.
