Feelin' something brunchy. The cinnamon nose in this is stupid good; a.solid variant, but I still prefer the OG.

Never thought I was a scotch ale fan, I’ve had the backwoods bastard and it’s been ok. This is quite good. The maple syrup smell is huge. The beer is delicious. Founders is a fantastic brewery and this is proof.

Whew! Maple- and vanilla-forward. Great barrel strength. Warm and spiced up with cinnamon. Very sweet and sharp nose. Could go for less cinnamon but this is still very good!

They pretty much nailed the French toast part of this. Great level of maple and cinnamon. Probably overshadows the base just a hair too much! Still…very good.

Someone left their maple donuts in backwoods bastard. Maple and cinnamon all in ver the front into the malty body and the bourbon finish. Like adult breakfast.

Amazing beer. Heavy flavors of cinnamon and vanilla overtake the bourbon flavor of backwoods bastard. I prefer the original, but this one is still delicious.

This is pretty great. Nice caramel and bourbon notes following almost immediately by the cinnamon and vanilla back end.

(Karma) Incredible! Before I even picked up the glass I could smell the maple. The strong maple flavor is the perfect disguise for the high percentage.
