Mycket fin doft av lönnsirap med en touch av kanel. Sen är ölen aningen för tunn. Visst alkoholgenomslag, men inte alltför farligt.

Really missing the bourbon barrel forward notes from Backwoods Bastard... Here it's all maple syrup and cinnamon. Apart from the nutty spiciness lingering, there's also a lingering bitterness there. Good, but just too much spiciness.

Feels artificial with the maple sweetness backed up by the beer itself. The beer itself is bitter and drying.
