First… Scotch Ale isn’t even on my Top ten list of Styles… 2nd… I felt they cheated w the art making me think of Popcorn Sutton, Gandalf, and a fat stack of French toast w too much Maple syrup. It’s amazing.

Not for the faint of heart. Those looking for zero sugar, low-calorie drinks should steer clear.

Lots of maple cinnamon. Mom cooked the French toast and said get out of bed your beer is ready.

Super good. This little gas station has a phenomenal beer selection. Barrel aged dark star, Bourbon County varietals and even Great Notion.

I love Founders, French toast and Scotch ales- so how could I not love this? Super rich and boozy, sweet but not cloying, full of flavors of buttery maple, burnt caramel, vanilla and cinnamon. It's only not a 5 because the bourbon notes complicate a bit.

This may possibly be my favorite Founders beer to date, and that says a lot. Wow. Don’t even know where to start.

Outstanding!! Sweetness of the maple syrup cuts the booziness in half.

I can taste a little butter as well. So complex and spot on... Amazing taste!

This is such a brilliant beer. Absolutely pinpointed the French toast profile. At 11.1%, it is somehow not boozy or overly sweet.

Cinnamon first, then breast/yeasty, then a touch of vanilla from the barrels. Maple syrup throughout. You can smell the maple syrup and cinnamon the moment you pop the top. Hint of coffee potentially but not much. Literally like French toast for breakfast

Definitely a sipper! Very strong tastes and would go good with a brunch or breakfast for dinner!

Great fall beer. How do they get this to taste like French toast? I would drink this for breakfast. Plus it reminds me of that Motley song. Consider that Bastard dead! Bastard!

2022 Malty and rich bourbon barrel-aged Scotch ale is introduced to the essence of smooth maple, warm cinnamon and notes of sweet vanilla for an incredibly decadent brunch-inspired sipper.

Smells just like French toast covered in maple syrup and booze. So the perfect brunch drink.
